Global passion for movies highlights role of intellectual property

Everyone loves a good story which is why film industries are flourishing across the world, according to the World Intellectual Property Organization or WIPO.

On World Intellectual Property (IP) Day, observed on April 26 every year, the agency is using the world's passion for movies to highlight the role of IP in encouraging innovation and creativity.

The World Intellectual Property Organization or WIPO is the global forum for intellectual property services, policy, information and cooperation.

Cathy Jewel Senior Information Officer in the Communications Division at WIPO shares with Jocelyne Sambira the agency's key messages for the day.
