Girls can "shape future" with ICT

Girls can help to shape the future of the planet if they're more involved in information and communications technology…well that's according to the 12-year old host of an online webshow.

Sylvia Todd, hosts Sylvia’s Super-Awesome Maker Show, which she describes as all about "how to make cool stuff."

On Thursday the United Nations is marking "Girls in ICT Day", an annual event which encourages more young women to study technology-related disciplines.

In a special interview to celebrate the day, 10-year old Serafina Jacobson-Walsh asked Sylvia Todd about her webshow.
