Fear motivates actor Michael Douglas to campaign for disarmament

The Hollywood actor Michael Douglas, has said that fear has motivated him to continue to campaign on disarmament issues.

Mr Douglas was at the United Nations to support the launch of a book on disarmament, aimed at young people.

He's been a UN Messenger of Peace for over a decade.

"Action for Disarmament: 10 Things You Can Do!" outlines ways that young people can help to fight the proliferation of weapons.

Daniel Dickinson asked Mr Douglas why the book is important.
