Europe, Central Asia "not without nutrition woes"

Countries in of Europe and Central Asia are suffering from what has been described by the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) as debilitating nutrition problems.

That is despite the fact that 53-countries in those regions could be hunger-free in the next few years.

The issue is due to be discussed by experts meeting at the 38th Sesssion of The European Commission on Agriculture in Bucharest, Romania this week.

Sandra Ferrari asked Raimund Jehle, the Senior Field Programme Officer in FAO's Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia about what is causing undernourishment.
