Dengue: a silent disease spotlighted on World Health Day

Mosquitoes, flies, ticks and bugs may be a threat to your health at home and when travelling—that's the message of this year's World Health Day, on the 7th of April.

The World Health Organization (WHO) and its partners are spotlighting vector-borne diseases.

Vectors are organisms that transmit pathogens and parasites from one infected person to another.
