The Central African Republic continues to face challenges in protecting civilians as the conflict continues between Christian and Muslim communities.

Thousands of people are believed to have been killed and hundreds of thousands of others forced to flee their home since the violence started in December 2012.

African Union forces and French troops, known as the Sangaris are helping the transitional government to protect civilians and restore stability.

Jean-Pierre Ramazzani discussed the situation in the country with Foreign Minister, Toussaint Kongo-Dodou and asked him about reports that civilians are being relocated from their homes.
