World leaders are gathering in The Hague, in the Netherlands on Monday to discuss progress in preventing nuclear terrorism.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is due to address the opening session of the two-day Nuclear Security Summit attended by over 50 leaders.
The summit is aimed at ensuring effective global cooperation to prevent terrorists getting hold of nuclear weapons or material.
The first Nuclear Security Summit was held in Washington D.C. in 2010 following a speech made by United States President Barack warning about the dangers of nuclear terrorism.
