The warning signs of a possible genocide in the Central African Republic, including hate speech, are increasingly evident according to a senior United Nations official.

Adama Dieng the UN Secretary-General's Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide says the international community has to act now to stop it happening.

On Tuesday a commission of UN-mandated experts arrive in the country to investigate human right violations.

Patrick Maigua asked Adama Dieng what needs to be done to ensure that the Central African Republic does not descend into genocide.
