The deaths of Somali bystanders in a bomb attack in Mogadishu has been strongly condemned by the UN Special Envoy for Somalia, Nicholas Kay.
A vehicle exploded close to a convoy of UN vehicles near the international airport, according to a statement released by his office on Thursday.
A UN car was damaged, but no UN employees were injured.
Four security escorts were lightly injured.
