A second round of peace talks in Geneva to end the ongoing crisis in Syria has ended in deadlock after the warring parties failed to agree on a way forward.

The three-year conflict in Syria has killed more than 100,000 people and forced millions of others to flee their homes.

Representatives of the Syrian government and the opposition have been meeting this week under the mediation of the UN and Arab League Envoy, Lakhdar Brahimi.

Derrick Mbatha reports.
