The joint UN and Arab league envoy for Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, has said there has been no progress in getting humanitarian aid to the besieged city of Homs in Syria.

The three-year civil war in which more than 100,000 have been killed, has created one of the world's most severe and complicated humanitarian emergencies.

The warring parties in Syria have been meeting at peace talks in Geneva over the past week, but so far there has been little progress on both political and humanitarian issues.
