Climate change major focus of World Economic Forum in DavosListen /
More than 2,500 leaders from about 100 countries, including over 30 heads of state or government are expected to participate in the four-day World Economic Forum in Davos.
Representatives of the public, private and civil society sectors will put their heads together to tackle the challenge of climate change and highlight the economic opportunities for taking action.
January 24 has been chosen as Climate Change Day in order to put the spotlight on advancing progress in 2014 on the climate change and sustainable development agenda.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is expected to speak about how governments and business can work together on the issue.
