Grenada's Representative Ambassador Denis Antoine said while Nelson Mandela’s dignified and gracious presence has left this world–his work here is done, but his legacy will forever live on.

” History will record Mr Mandela arguably, as the greatest public figure of the 20th century. The Prime Minister of Grenada, Dr. the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell said, and I quote: His eternal legacy will be about the importance of forgiveness, reconciliation and respect for all people. In those respects, he led where others should aim to follow. Grenada joins with its South African sisters and brothers, not only in mourning the passing of a great man, but also in celebrating a life which served as a beacon of hope to humanity despite its many obstacles and challenges – a life which changed the course of an entire nation and left an indelible mark on the entire world. Unquote. ”
