UN experts on enforced disappearances conclude mission to SpainListen /
There are still many people who have disappeared in Spain but their relatives don't know what happened to them.
That's what two members of the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances discovered during a visit to the country.
During the mission, from 23 to 30 September, the experts examined the measures Spain has taken to prevent and eradicate enforced or voluntary disappearances.
UN Radio's Derrick Mbatha spoke with one of the experts, Jasminka Dzumhur, on the line from the Spanish capital, Madrid, who first explained why they undertook the mission.
