More than 30 world leaders are set to address the opening day of the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday.
As is tradition, Brazil will be the first speaker followed by the United States of America.
Heads of State and government are expected to express their views on the current global economic situation; climate change; progress on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs); the Middle East Peace Process, Syria; terrorism; among other topics of global concern.
UN Radio will provide updates on the remarks of the heads of State during the course of the day.
