Countries commit to bring an end to sexual violence in conflict

More than 100 countries have signed a declaration aimed at stamping out sexual violence in conflict. The Declaration follows on from a campaign launched in May 2012 calling on governments to confront the use of rape as a weapon of war.

Vietnamese teenager raises her voice on behalf of disabled youth

Nguyen Phuong Anh, a teenager from Viet Nam, calls herself "Crystal" as this name hints at both her fragility and her strength.  The aspiring entertainer, who was born with brittle bone disease, was at the UN this week where she joined music superstar and UN Messenger of Peace Stevie Wonder to advocate on behalf of children with disabilities.
