Congolese nun honoured with prestigious UN refugee award

A Roman Catholic nun from the Democratic Republic of Congo has won the United Nations Refugee Agency's top prize for 2013.

The Nansen Refugee Award honours an individual, group or organization for their extraordinary and dedicated service to refugees, displaced or stateless people.

She will receive her prize and a medal at a ceremony in Geneva on 30 September.
