Ministers from Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey have joined with the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) to appeal for greater support to countries hosting Syrians fleeing the ongoing crisis in their homeland.

Following a meeting in Geneva on Wednesday, they strongly appealed for the international community to overcome existing differences and join together to stop the fighting which has killed 100,000 people and created two million refugees.
