UN labour agency launches tool to step up fight against child labourListen / The International Labour Organization (ILO) has launched a training guide to step up the fight against the worst forms of child labour.
The ILO says the new tool is aimed at guiding efforts towards the goal of eliminating the worst forms of child labour by 2016.
The guide defines the worst forms of child labour and presents key strategies for their elimination.
It also outlines recommended actions that governments, employers, workers and other civil society organizations can take to tackle this problem.
The training guide is complemented by a Facilitator's Guide to assist those who wish to facilitate or support training workshops and national consultations.
