Human Rights Office "alarmed" at continuing violence in Egypt

As the violence continues in Egypt, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights remains "alarmed" at the situation and reiterates its call to allow human rights officers to assess the situation on the ground.

Humanitarian agencies operating in the country are also concerned but so far, the World Food Programme says its operations continue with minimal incident.
