Universal health coverage means that everybody should have access to the health services they need without risk of financial ruin or impoverishment, says Dr. Christopher Dye of the Word Health Organization.

WHO on Thursday released a report that says universal health coverage is not a luxury; rather, it is fundamental to the discovery, development and delivery of interventions that people need to maintain good health.
