UN concerned about insecurity in Pibor town of South SudanListen /
The United Nations is concerned about the deterioration of the security situation in Pibor town in Jonglei State of South Sudan.
The UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) says acts of violence and looting by armed individuals have forced scores of people to flee their homes.
It is particularly alarmed by reports of the involvement of allegedly ill-disciplined members of security forces in some of the incidents.
UNMISS Spokesperson Ariane Quentier tells UN Radio's Derrick Mbatha that the situation has been really bad in the last couple of days.
