UN chief lauds strong female representation in Mozambican parliament

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has praised Mozambique's National Assembly for its role in promoting social cohesion and political dialogue.

In meeting with the President of the National Assembly, the Secretary-General said he was delighted to see the strong representation of women, which he said, is reflected throughout the government and parliament.

Alex King is travelling with the Secretary-General and filed this report from the Mozambican capital Maputo.
