Syrian children receive vaccination

Measles is one of the leading causes of death among young children and the UN children's fund (UNICEF) and its partners are stepping up vaccination campaigns among a particularly vulnerable population.

They're working to combat measles outbreaks in Syria and neighbouring countries housing thousands of Syrian refugees who have fled their homeland due to the ongoing crisis there.
