Syrian refugee camps increasingly overcrowded: UNHCRListen /
With the number of people fleeing the crisis in Syria showing no signs of stopping, the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) says overcrowding at refugee camps in neighbouring countries is increasing.
The agency is particularly concerned about conditions at camps in Iraq where more than 120,000 Syrians are registered as refugees.
It says overcrowding also putting a heavy burden on sanitation and contributing to disease outbreaks and tension between camp residents.
