This simple recommendation from the World Health Organization (WHO) could help millions of people get a handle on hypertension, or high blood pressure.

Hypertension is a leading cause of cardiovascular disease, kidney failure and blindness, making it the focus of this year's observation of World Health Day on 7 April.
