On Wednesday, the 13th of February this year, millions of people around the world will be celebrating World Radio Day.
This annual event aims to highlight the power and relevance of radio broadcasting in reaching millions of people around the world, with information, education and entertainment.
This celebration marks the day in 1946 when the newly-founded United Nations decided to establish and launch UN Radio.
