UN agency condemns killing of Palestine refugees in Syria
Listen /The UN agency that assists Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) is calling on the warring parties in Syria to pull back from civilian areas, including refugee camps.
This follows the recent death of up to 12 Palestinian refugees in fighting which also injured some 20 people.
In a statement on Friday, UNRWA reported that women and children were among those killed or injured following what it described as "intense armed engagements" in southern Rif Damascus.
UNRWA has condemned the killing of Palestine refugees and other civilians in Syria.
The agency also repeated its call to all sides in the conflict to protect civilians and to resolve their differences through dialogue and political negotiations.
