Secretary-General expresses sadness at nightclub deaths
Listen /Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon has expressed sadness over the large number of lives lost on Sunday in a nightclub fire in Brazil.
An estimated 233 young people, including university students, reportedly perished as a result of the fire in the southern city of Santa Maria.
The Secretary-General expressed his condolences to the families and friends of those whose lives were lost, as well as to the Government and people of Brazil at this time of national mourning.
