ITU-IMPACT establishes cyber-security center in Arab region
Listen /The first Cybersecurity Innovation Centre to cater to the needs of the Arab region is being established in Oman.
The centre is a result of a partnership between the International Telecommunication Union, ITU, its cyber-security partner, the International Multilateral Partnership against Cyber Threats (IMPACT), and the Information Technology Authority (ITA) of Oman.
According to ITU, the centre will help address escalating cyber threats.
ITU Secretary-General Dr Hamadoun I. Touré said, "Through such centres, ITU-IMPACT will be better positioned to respond to the needs of our stakeholders more effectively and efficiently."
