Secretary-General posing with eminent members of the High-Level Panel

Young people are making sure that their perspectives are included in global discussions on development over the coming years.

Several youth representatives had the chance to interact with the UN Secretary-General's High-Level Panel on Post-2015 development, which met last week in London.

The panel, which consists of numerous eminent persons, is co-chaired by three world leaders: Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, UK Prime Minister David Cameron and Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.

Michele Zaccheo at the UN Information Centre in Jakarta sat down with Rainintha "Rain" Siahaan, a youth delegate from Indonesia, who described participating in the meeting as a "once in a lifetime" experience.
