WFP steps up to feed thousands in Haiti and Cuba after hurricane disaster

Members of the United Nations Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) prepare to deliver aid to residents of an island off the south east coast of Haiti.
The World Food Programme (WFP) is helping to feed thousands of people in Haiti and Cuba who have lost their homes and livelihoods due to Hurricane Sandy.
WFP is urgently appealing for more than $20 million to support more than 425,000 people in Haiti alone, particularly pregnant women, new mothers and children under five years old.
Patrick Maigua in Geneva sat down with WFP spokesperson Elizabeth Byers to learn more about what the agency is doing in both countries.
