Vienna panel discusses UN action plan to protect journalists
Listen /Journalists are on the frontlines of the world's greatest crises, risking their lives to bring stories to the public.
But who protects reporters, camera operators, and others who work in media? And with the expansion of technology such as smart phones and social media such as Facebook and Twitter, who exactly is a journalist?

Dianne Penn reports on a panel discussion organized by the UN Information Service in Vienna, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the International Press Institute (IPI).
