The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) is protesting a recent government decision to expel one of its Human Rights officers from the country.
The staff member is currently working in Uganda after being given 48 hours to leave South Sudan, according to a statement from the mission.
Derrick Mbatha spoke to UNMISS spokesman Kouider Zerrouk, who is based in South Sudan's capital, Juba. He said no specific reason or justification for the decision had been given.
