The United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) has suspended schooling in Gaza as Israel continued airstrikes on the territory.

There are also reports that an UNRWA teacher was killed in a car near the scene of an airstrike in northern Gaza.

Adnan Abu Hasna is the agency's spokesperson in Gaza.

Mr. Hasna denied that UNRWA's international staff members are leaving Gaza.

He said they will remain in their work, adding that four staff members have entered Gaza to help with the emergency operations the agency is running during what he says is "a dangerous situation".
