Years of conflict have shattered the principles of security and justice in many countries.
In countries emerging from war, the UN Peace-building Fund supports activities designed to respond to imminent threats to the peace process.
Ambassador Jan Knutsson, the Permanent Representative of Sweden to the United Nations in Geneva and Chairperson of the Peace-building Fund Advisory Group, spoke to Gerry Adams about the activities of the Fund.
