Gaza gets a boost of EUR 11.5 million from European Union
Listen /Palestinians got a boost on Wednesday when a representative of the European Union (EU) visited Gaza which is recovering from an eight-day conflict with Israel.
The EU representative John Gatt-Rutter and Robert Turner, the Director of the UN Refugee Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) signed a new EUR 11.5 million agreement in Gaza City.
The funds are to support UNRWA's core activities in the areas of health, education and social services.
