Forum on conflict and fragility opens in Liberia
Listen /Representatives of governments, civil society and United Nations agencies have gathered in Monrovia, the capital of Liberia for a forum on conflict and fragility which opened on Thursday.
The meeting, which is co-hosted by the governments of Liberia and Finland, is focusing on Africa.
It is the latest in a series of three United Nations-led thematic consultations on how to integrate issues of disasters, conflict and citizen security into a new universal development framework.
