Extension health workers help save babies' lives in Namibia
Listen /Efforts are under way in the Kunene region of Namibia to reduce the number of children who die before reaching the age of five.
The government of Namibia is working with the UN Children's Fund to ensure that the nomadic Ovahimba community in the region have access to health services.
To achieve this, 34 health extension workers have been trained to reach out to the Ovahimba community in the Kunene region.
