New vaccine gives Pakistani children a fighting chance against pneumonia

Pakistan has become the first country in South Asia to introduce a new vaccine that targets a major childhood killer: pneumonia.

The pneumococcal vaccine will help in the fight against a largely preventable illness which robs the world of more than a million children under five years old each year.
