On Monday Mr. Brahimi was in Baghdad, Iraq, where he spoke to journalists after meeting with the country's leaders.
“Thank you very much. We share with the President and the Prime Minister and with you your concerns for Syria and its many problems, and what it represents as a risk for its people and neighbours, but also for peace in the entire world. We talked about these concerns and these problems and I think we have agreed that, whatever the difficulties and the concerns are, we must try to help the Syrian people.” (Duration: 27″)
