Human rights should be at heart of Myanmar reform:UN expert
Listen /The Rohingya people of Myanmar are excluded from basic human rights, according to Tomás Ojea Quintana.
Mr. Quintana, the UN Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in Myanmar, presented his report to the UN General Assembly on Thursday.
He said Buddhist and Muslim communities continue to suffer from violence in Rakhine State where there is endemic discrimination against the Rohingya, a Muslim community.
Mr. Quintana spoke to Gerry Adams about the problem.
