Gender Minister helps women adapt to climate change in LiberiaListen /
Liberia's Minister for Gender and Development, Julia Duncan-Cassell, was in New York for the opening of the 67th session of the General Assembly.
Ms. Duncan-Casell said Liberian women have been adversely affected by climate change because they spend so much of their time in the open.
But the Ministry for Gender and Development is working to empower all women in Liberia in order to live better lives.
Gerry Adams had an opportunity to sit and talk with her about the daily lives of women in her country.
