Adapting to climate change will be high on the agenda when more than 1,000 representatives from countries that are party to the UN Convention on Biodiversity meet next week in Hyderabad, India.

They will also review progress on the so-called Aichi Biodiversity Targets which are 20 goals aimed at safeguarding ecosystems, species and genetic diversity on the planet.

Ahead of the meeting, Donn Bobb spoke to David Ainsworth, Information Officer at the Montréal-based UN Biodiversity Secretariat, who says mobilizing resources will also be central to the meeting.
