Massive teacher shortages are quietly looming over countries struggling to provide every child with quality primary education by 2015, says UNESCO, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
On the occasion of World Teachers' Day, the 5th of October, Albert Motivans of the UNESCO Institute for Statistics told me the current problem is just the tip of the iceberg.
