Agricultural Cooperatives: Key to Feeding the World – FAO
The role of agricultural cooperatives is the focus of this year's World Food Day observed on 16 October.
The day is being observed in 150 countries, under the theme, “Agricultural cooperatives – key to feeding the world”
The observance coincides with "2012 International Year of Cooperatives" designated by the UN General Assembly.
