UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon addresses the general debate of the sixty-seventh session of the General Assembly
Global issues are under the spotlight at the United Nations headquarters in New York as leaders from around the world began their annual general debate in the 67th session of the UN General Assembly.
The leaders, who include heads of state, prime ministers, foreign ministers and other senior government officials, are addressing a myriad of issues of concern to the international community.
They include the global economic slowdown, sustainable development, terrorism, conflicts and disarmament.
