As the world grows more integrated, many are looking to define the nature of this integration.
Kemal Dervis, the Director of Global Economy and Development at the Brookings Institution says there is convergence of emerging and advanced economies.
He says there is also interdependence of the fortunes of countries and divergence of incomes within countries.
Lika Gueye of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) discusses the global economy with Mr. Dervis who begins by explaining how the convergence between advanced and developing countries has unfolded.
