A mini summit to mobilize support for Somalia was convened by the UN Secretary-General on the margins of the General Assembly's general debate on Wednesday.
Over the last eight years, a transitional government in Somalia, with the help of the UN and the African Union has been working to re-establish state institutions which collapsed in 1991.
