Doctor in the house? UN medical team ready for any emergency
Listen /Heart attacks, diabetic shock, even fires, are just some of the emergencies that the UN medical services division is prepared for during the annual general debate.
The unit also has a walk-in clinic particularly for people who have flown in from other countries and maybe need to renew a prescription or just get treatment.
Doctors and nurses are always on hand to offer their support, Dr. Michael Rowell told UN Radio's Dianne Penn.
He spoke to her about his unit's role during this busy time, but began by describing their regular operations.
